Connor Shimmel is a Vice President at Orlando Industrial Real Estate, LLC, focused on Central Florida industrial assets between 5,000 and 100,000 square feet. He has facilitated more than $335 million in commercial real estate transactions.
Before brokerage, Connor worked in logistics, where he secured Mohawk Industries as his company’s largest client. That experience means he reads a warehouse requirement from the operator’s side first — throughput, loading, staging, and labor — rather than starting from rate per square foot. It matters most on distribution and manufacturing requirements, where the wrong building costs a tenant more in handling than it saves in rent.
Connor holds a business and finance degree from Covenant College, where he was a four-year varsity tennis player and two-year captain. Originally from Chicagoland, he relocated to Orlando in 2018 after earning his degree and beginning his career in logistics in Chattanooga.
